The first Mandarin Oriental Hotel on the African continent will open in 2009 in Marrakech.
The new Mandarin Oriental Jnan Rahma Resort, Marrakech is set amidst 53 hectares of palm groves, surrounded by the Atlas mountains and only 15 minutes away from Marrakech's city center and airport.
The architecture of the resort is in the style of traditional palaces and elegant Moroccan villas. The customary ocher façades surrounded by palms, olive trees, gardens, fountains and pasture land make this luxury resort an oasis of calm and relaxation.
One architectural feature is the four riads, traditional and self‑contained buildings, whose 16 to 20 guest rooms are arranged around a central courtyard. Ideal for families or small groups, for private parties or exclusive company events.
A large ballroom for up to 450 people and smaller function rooms increase the meeting options and are also ideally suited for social occasions.
Feuring Projektmanagement Ltd. took on the cost determination and budget planning for the SOE for this exotic project.
SOE provision and quality and quantity control are also planned to be taken care of.
